The tea shop is at the southern end of Main Street. Next to the Lighting Gallery and Computer Doctor.
Exceptional service, delicious homemade soups and tuna salad croissants and tantalizing desserts that fill the atmosphere with their delicious aroma as soon as you open the door. The Earl grey tea was excellent and so was the "no rush" aura of the tea house. They simply want you to come in, relax, and enjoy yourself and their teas/ delicacies.
Very unique place to have a snack and a cup of tea, in Alachua. It has the feel of an old british colonial antique store, renovated into a cool hangout spot for small snacks, on either side of lunch, and before dinner. The owner is very friendly, humble and loves to serve. My favourite items were the Soup and the Quiche.I highly recommend a visit! 😌
The tea is fabulous, the food is superb, and the owner is a delight to be around! There is plenty of variety, wether you want soup, sandwhiches, or quiche, as well as over twenty tea options. Setting is cute and quaint. My girlfriend and I visit often, and we love it.
Fantastic place to get an assortment of sourced teas and homemade baked pastries and sweets!
Personal service, delicious food, great quiet atmosphere
Great selection of tea, coffee, sandwiches, soups, and pastries. We treated my niece to high tea for her birthday, and it was wonderful. Alachua needed a place like this. The owner was extremely nice and accommodating! We'll be back soon!
Everyone was super nice and friendly. Lovely place. Great sweets. I could hang out all day!
My wife and I have been going here for about a year and it's by far our favorite place to get a great cup of tea. We always come in the afternoon for the Cream Tea, which is a pot of tea for each of us and a platter of delicious home made pastries. There are probably close to 50 varieties of tea to choose from. This is all amplified by the amazing friendly owner Louis. Do yourself a favor and head over as soon as you can.
This place is the absolute best for tea and other good meals. The proprietor of the shop. Is wonderful.
My sister and i visited for coffee and pastries which were both fabulous. Fresh baked and french pressed coffee we were close to heaven. The staff and owner were amazing and the tea room was quaint and entertaining at the same time. My husband and live on our 51 ft sailboat in hammock beach, fl so our trip to old town alaucha was refreshing. 5 star tea room thanks
very quaint and beautiful
This is the most fabulous place to eat, and owner is so nice, and the place is so neat. We took a sweet friend for a birthday, and she had a blast, and we did too! I recommend you to go. Thanks again for making our day.
Amazing food and great hospitality.
We happened upon this cozy tea shop by accident while running into town during a recent camping trip. Now it's on our list to be sure to visit next time we are camping.
Very nice dining experience. Great place to take your wife and girls.
Had a wonderful time here with my mother and lady friend. Such a quaint, unique, fun place. There are soup, quiche, salad, and pastries. The tea selection is vast and of such a great selection. We chose a pot of French breakfast and the flavor is very delicate, and floral. The lentil soup I ordered was very nice, although I've been told the broccoli cheddar is the way to go. The gentleman that owns it is so kind, and professional. There are also some hats and shawls available if you want to be fancy and/or cute and dress up for tea.
This was a really relaxing place to have lunch. I came in stressed out and left feeling a hundred times better. The quiche was AMAZING.
Apple turnovers were so tasty! The atmosphere is so cozy and cute! Highly recommend!
I happened upon this treasure on a lunch break last year. It is on a picturesque cobblestone road in historic Alachua. I was blown away by the adorable atmosphere, delicious sweets, savory food, and abundant tea selection. A few other things I have enjoyed is that local companies that make tea accessories are sometimes featured in the shop, you are able to pick out your tea cup and pot (LOVE this feature), and the owners care so much about making you feel right at home and that every need is met, just like a tea parlor should feel. It is perfect for all ages and occasions. I highly recommend Teatime Tranquility and Treasures.
Authentic British tea shoppe! Excellent service & food, great tea selection! This is an outstanding place to go for breakfast or lunch. You will feel like you stepped into the dining room of a real English B & B! Love it! 💖
Fabulous.lunch-soup,fruit,sandwiches and snot of tea. Fresh ,homemade and really good!
Excellent food and atmosphere. Will go back every chance I get!
The owner is amazing. The place is cozy and food is good. Tea is soooo good.
This place was such a gem!! We were here for a bridal shower and they were incredible hosts with incredible tea, coffee, and food. Thank you for having us!
This place is wonderful. In this household we support small businesses and more especially Louis. You’re doing great
A really charming shop to stop for a light lunch & tasty cup of tea. The owner is very friendly.
This was probably one of the neatest experiences I've ever had. Everything about this place was perfect. The food was awesome. The tea was awesome. The experience was awesome. I heavily recommend it!
Wonderful place to get away, relax and have some amazing tea or coffee.
Had such a wonderful time!!
Nice place
Wonderful memories made! Great food and service.
Nice place kinda pricey
It's an adorable little tea house. Definitely worth a visit for a fancy cup of tea with Mom, a small ladies' group, or a romantic tea for two. They serve you in cute fancy teapots and cups, and the decor inside is quaint charming. You have your choice of sofas and chairs around a coffee table or a regular dining table so fancy you hate to mess it up for a cup of tea or coffee. They also serve food, but not much for vegans/vegetarians. No non-dairy option for coffee creamer. It is also a bit pricey. Nonetheless, the selection of teas and the almost surreal atmosphere brings me back from time to time. It's a good place to bring a friend or family member from out of town, while checking out downtown Alachua's cute historic district.
If you're looking for a new experience, and you enjoy tea, tasty treats, and kind people, this is the place to be!
Food and Tea was excellent. Owner was extremely friendly along with the other staff. Definitely recommend bringing your girl friends for brunch.
Cozy, cute tea parlor. Quick service. Owner is very nice, personable, and fun to talk to. Delicious teas and snacks. Do note, high tea is by reservation only/you need to call at least 1-2 days in advance. Could do small parties (owner suggests 4 per high tea set but could do multiple tables for a group as large as 20). High tea is delicious and we definitely has some left overs. Highly recommend.
Amazing service. The owner is very polite and friendly and the food is by far some of the best and freshest ive ever had.
Such a really nice place...loved everything about it. The tea, the food, the atmosphere and the tea sets everywhere...couldn' t have enjoyed it more.
The tea selection is great, the baked goods are fresh and delicious, and the atmosphere is comfortable and welcoming.
Welcoming people, homemade food, and calming atmosphere. Overall great experience, will come again!
We had a great time having tea and eating lunch here. The food was fantastic and the tea was scrumptious. We had the cucumber sandwiches, salad, soups and can't forget the desserts! The guy was very welcoming and nice. The place was like a step back in time. So Awesome! We enjoyed our time together here.
Awesome tea shop on beautiful Main Street! Relaxing, comfy chairs and fresh baked treats with piping hot pots of tea! The best!
Wonderful restful spot for lunch or parties. No rush. Delicious food. Owner very attentive. A real treat for anyone!
Nice atmosphere for a 21st tea party for my daughter and a few friends. The staff was really top notch too.The Blueberry green tea was really good.
Manager was very kind and attentive, beautiful atmosphere, and wonderful food. Very relaxed, nice place to be. A mite pricey if it were anywhere else, but feels worth it. I had a quiche combo and a tea rose, both great.
Customer service is great I had a Great time with my Sister's & Friends from Church
Delayed review, but went here with some friends right after they opened (I think) and they were very hospitable.
My wife and I had the distinct pleasure of meeting the owner of this lovely teahouse, Louis, and delighting in the charm of the place. No detail was spared to make for a beautiful space in which to relax, sip tea and savor a treat. And our host was a consummate gentleman. Though far from home, we hope to come often.
I would have 5 starred it but the service was slow. I loved the place and it was super fun to wear the hats and scarfs, great idea! Also me tea cups!!!!! It would fun to have a party there.
What a lovely setting. Inside is just beautifully appointed. However we sat outside with the dog. Service was excellent and we were given time to make our choice of many teas. Coffee is also served. Breakfast croissants excellent also fresh fruit. . Definitely will go back
